The Story Behind Freedom Catheter

I never planned on starting a clothing company.

Like many other people, my life changed when I began wearing a urinary catheter.

I quickly discovered that ordinary clothing simply wasn't designed for someone in my situation.

Simple activities - traveling, shopping, attending church, enjoying dinner with friends, or spending time with family - became more difficult than they should have been.

I knew there had to be a better way.

So I walked into my workshop and began experimenting. One pair of pants... then another... each change taught me something new.

Every design was tested by the one person who mattered most - me.

If something wasn't comfortable, I changed it. If something could be improved, I improved it.

Eventually I developed a simple modification that made life easier while still looking like ordinary clothing.

When doctors, nurses, medical professionals, friends, and family saw what I had created, they encouraged me to share it with others.

That encouragement became Freedom Catheter LLC.

Today, every garment is still modified with the same care and attention that I put into my own clothing.

I don't think of myself as simply sewing pants. I think of myself as helping people regain comfort, confidence, and independence.

If my work makes someone's day a little easier, every stitch is worth it.
